Lake Oswego Schools
LO moves to reconfigure school boundaries.
In an effort to provide Lake Oswego students continued excellence in our classrooms:
- Quality of teachers
- Class size
- Program offerings
In April 2011, the Lake Oswego School Board approved the phased implementation of
Scenario B, a plan for school closures and reconfiguration, as follows:
Beginning 2011-12
- Palisades Elementary was closed. Students are attending Westridge or Hallinan.
Beginning 2012-13
- Uplands and Bryant elementary schools will close.
- Bryant facility will be repurposed as part of Waluga Junior High School.
- Elementary schools will be reconfigured from grades K-6 to grades K-5.
- Waluga and Lake Oswego junior high schools will be reconfigured from grades 7-8 to grades 6-8 middle schools.
